**1.* Falkor I.C.Y. offers 4 EVS positions for **Dutch volunteers in
Armenia and Georgia under 26 years, from 15/09/07 - 15/07/08.*

**Are you interested to become a HIV/AIDS prevention trainer for youth
in Armenia or Georgia? You will be active for 10 months in Tbilisi,
Georgia or Yerevan, Armenia, involved in the NGOs APD or BEM, giving
trainings to empower local youth to recognise and resist social pressure
and instead encourage them to make their own decisions, with the aim to:
reduce the growing number of HIV/ AIDS infections, to reduce and prevent
intravenous drugs abuse and to recognise and prevent violent situations.
Among this youth are different risk groups, such as young IDP's. You
will do this together with young trainers from Armenia or Georgia after
being trained professionally yourself during a 10-day training in the
Netherlands.
Also, you can also join other activities of the host organization and
organize a personal project.
All volunteers will remain in contact with each other through our EVS
network and join trainings (like the on-arrival training ) and meetings
together.
International travel costs, visa, insurance, accommodation, food and
local transport costs will be covered. Also task-related and personal
support (a mentor) and language lessons will be provided. The
volunteer's allowance (pocket money) is 150 Euro per month.
The project is financed with support of the YOUTH programme of the
European Commission.

*2. International Training Course in Bac(ka Palanka, Serbia, May 21st --
May 29th 2007*
Falkor is looking for 2 Dutch participants for the International
Training Course: "Take your chance, become active! The Realisation of
Intercultural Youth Exchanges in SEE within the Youth in Action Program.
A Training Course for Young European Faciliators, Peers and Youth Leaders".
The aim is to realize a Training Course for potential partners of Action
3 -- Youth Exchanges projects in the frame of the new Youth Program
"YOUTH in ACTION". The TC focused on development of cooperation between
Program countries and Partner countries from SEE and wants to stimulate
the creation of new project ideas within Action 3. The objectives are
-To provide information about the new YOUTH Program "YOUTH in ACTION"
and especially Action 3 (youth exchanges)
-To get to know with possibilities of cooperation between Program and
Partner countries from SEE within Action 3
-To train in project management within Action 3
-To develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to organize a
youth exchange
-To bring together people working with young people in order to create
new project ideas within Action 3
